Born in Brighton, Brogan is a freelance dance artist from the UK and studied at LABAN working with choreographers Lea Anderson, Simon Vincenzi, Charles Linehan and Rosemary Butcher amongst others. Since graduating in the spring of 2010 with a BA in Dance Theatre, she has been involved in dance, film and theatre projects, choreographing and performing in Iceland, Norway and the UK. Brogan is the artistic director of Spiral Youth Dance Company which she runs alongside Ragna Sveinsdóttir and Emelía Antonsdóttir Crivello at the Dance Atelier in Reykjavík. She is a member of the Who´s Johnny collective (Europe) and Raven (Iceland). Brogan´s own work focuses on exploring the intrinsic communicative functions of movement. Brogan currently teaches and runs movement workshops around Iceland.
