Tinna Gretarsdottir began her dance training at Edda Schevings ballet school, continued in the National School of Ballet in Reykjavik, Iceland, and later graduated with a BA in moderen dance from the Oslo National Academy of the Arts in Norway. Since 1998 she has been working as a dancer and dance teacher in Norway and Iceland. She’s worked with Vivild Bergersen, Lisbeth Ronning and Olof Ingolfsdottir, for Icelandic Dance Company and Teater Ibsen to name a few. She has mostly worked in dance performances but also in theatre productions and school performances. When working on her own productions she collaborates with musicians and visual artists on installations and dance films.
