After graduating from the National Ballet Academy, Italy in 2002 he joined Transitions Dance Company at LABAN. Gianluca also has wide ranging performance experience with companies such as Henri Oguike’s H2O, IJAD Dance Company, himherandit.productions, Efrosini Protopapa’s Lapsus Corpi and Iceland Dance Company.

Gianluca has taught and led workshops through out Europe, Asia and the US since 2003. He has been a faculty member at Laban from 2004-2005, a full time dance tutor and course coordinator at Klassíski Listdanskólinn dance academy and a dance tutor at Iceland Academy of the Arts, Reykjavik where he taught Limon based classes at all levels.

Gianluca is the Artistic Director at Spiral Dance Company and the Rehearsal Director at Iceland Dance Company. There he has assisted a numbers of National and International choreographers including: Katrín Hall, Lára Stefánsdóttir, Helena Johnsdóttir, Alexander Ekman, Jo Stromgren, André Gingras and many others.
